Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane shoes are designed specifically for outdoor activities with medium temperatures and variable climatic conditions. Many mountain shoes are equipped with a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane. The membrane inserted between the upper and internal lining prevents the penetration of water from the outside. At the same time, sweat can escape through the billion pores of the thinly subtle membrane in the form of water vapor and evaporate quickly, being the steam molecules a thousand times smaller than the drops of water. Gore-Tex Performance Comfort shoes are therefore waterproof and breathable.
