Men's Swiftwater Rain Jacket Service Green
The Swiftwater weighs less than 140 g and, thanks to its compact size, can be stored in your backpack or vest pocket. The outer fabric is made of 2.5 layers of tough but lightweight 108 g ripstop nylon with a laminated waterproof membrane on the inside. The middle layer is molded mesh that serves to protect the membrane from abrasion and wear. Although lightweight, the Swiftwater is absolutely waterproof, thanks to its sealed seams. Functional, breathable and waterproof: thanks to all these specifications, the garment remains perfectly dry and comfortable in any satuation. For this reason, the Swiftwater's waterproof membrane is sprinkled with microscopic pores that allow vapor and sweat to escape, to allow better breathability and avoid moisture, without letting rain and snow through. YKK®'s AquaGuard® waterproof zippers are used to ensure absolute waterproofness. The front zipper has an internal storm flap and neck-level end protection to avoid irritating the skin on contact. The Swiftwater is wide enough to allow additional layers to be added when the weather gets particularly cold. It also effectively protects against wind and rain with its adjustable hood with two-way drawstring. Adjustable Velcro® cuffs offer a customized fit. The Swiftwater also stores directly in its hood and can be carried anywhere in its ultra-compact size.
The Swiftwater waterproof effectively protects against rain and snow. In an ultralight, easily foldable format, it is functional, waterproof and breathable.

Filson - Excellent quality for over 120 years
Born in 1850, c.c.filson inherited the pioneering spirit of the Father and the love for the open air. After living in Nebraska and traveling throughout the country as a railway worker, he moved to the town of Seattle, Washington around 1890.
Filson could not have chosen a better timing. In 1897 he began the great golden race of Klondike and thousands of people on the hunt for luck were poured into Seattle, headed to the north. Armed with a great sense of work, a reputation of honesty and long years of experience in dressing colonists and gold seekers of the North-West Pacific, C.C.Filson was ready to become famous. Here's what he said in our 1914 catalog:
"To our customers: if a man is directed to the North, he should go to us for his clothing, because we have learned what is better to wear in that country from the experience of a northern man - and not just one - but hundreds. Our materials are the best available, aware that the best is the result of constant research and that quality is vital. You can absolutely count on our products both as regards the materials and the processing.
