Following a timid debut in Zurich, On opens 2010 with a big ambition: to revolutionize the feeling of running. Everything revolves around an exceptional idea. Soft landings followed by explosive take-offs. Or, running on clouds.
After retiring from the world of competition, Olivier Bernhard, a three-time duathlon world champion and winner of a number of Ironman events, set out to find a running shoe that would give him the perfect running sensation. This project is accompanied by his two friends David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti.
Within eight years, On Running shoes, especially the Cloud, Cloudflow and Cloudnova models, as well as The Roger model designed by tennis player Roger Federer, are winning the hearts, and feet, of over three million runners in more than 50 countries.s. And this trend seems unlikely to stop.
