HARTFORD

Hartford

Imagined by Yves Chareton in the United States in 1979, the Hartford project revisits American wardrobe classics, giving them a modern twist. A decisive encounter for the launch was when a New York manufacturer sold him old stocks of Oxford and chambray fabrics that were impossible to find on the market and ideal for making the first vintage-inspired Hartford shirts.

After a few years, the brand returned to Paris and began its commercial development: the collections grew in size and became synonymous with impeccable materials and style.

Mixing European influences with a casual west coast style, the brand quickly gained cult status on both sides of the Atlantic. Unsurprisingly, Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton soon became unconditional fans....

Since then, the brand has kept up with the times while preserving its beloved family values.
