Model 9060 is a new expression of the refined style and innovative design of the classic 99X series. The 9060 reinterprets the familiar elements of the 99X with a visionary sensibility, inspired by the visibly technological and proudly futuristic aesthetic of the Y2K era. Sway bars, taken from the 990, have been expanded and used throughout the upper to impart a visible sense of movement, while wavy lines and scaled proportions on sculpted midsoles place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning basics.

New Balance

In 1906, William J. Riley, a 33-year-old English immigrant, founded the New Balance Arch Support Company in Boston, producing insole arches and other accessories capable of improving the fit of shoes. The brand, now fourth in the world in the production of sneakers for athletes and lifestyle, known and represented worldwide, was already born with great attention to health and quality.

They continued to sell insole supports until 1961, when they designed the "Trackster," the first sports shoe with grooves in the sole for added grip. It was also the first shoe available in various widths.

The Trackster brought New Balance a reputation as an innovator and producer of cutting-edge shoes. The production is located between the United States and the European Union, boasting models named with precise numbering and high quality for men, women and kids.
