Suunto

The SUUNTO name has been synonymous with adventure since 1936, when Finnish orienteer Tuomas Vohlonen decided to create a more accurate compass and later invented a new method for making liquid compasses.

Today SUUNTO is at the forefront of design and innovation in sports watches, dive computers and instruments used by adventure seekers around the world.

Suunto products can withstand adventures of all kinds, but are also designed for everyday use that reflects the Nordic identity. Suunto's headquarters and facilities are still located in Finland. Part of Amer Sports along with sister brands Salomon, Arc'teryx, Peak Performance, Atomic, Wilson and Precor.
