The Hoka One One Clifton 9 in Frost/Gold colorway are lightweight, cushioned running shoes ideal for long distances and daily walking. They feature a breathable engineered mesh upper that offers wraparound comfort and a gusseted tongue to prevent shifting. A compression-molded EVA foam midsole and Meta-Rocker technology provide a smooth transition from heel to toe. With an increased stack height of 3 mm, these shoes offer a responsive ride and protective cushioning while maintaining stability with a wide base and active frame geometry. Made from recycled materials, they are also vegan and recognized for promoting foot health.

Hoka One one

The brand first made a name for itself in the running industry by producing shoes with oversized soles, dubbed "maximalist" because of the extra cushion, as opposed to the minimalist shoe trend that was gaining popularity when the company was founded in 2009.

The initial goal of the prototype was to improve endurance race times by designing a shoe that would allow for faster downhill running.

Once completed, it was discovered that the shoes were able to improve uphill running as well, helping an athlete tackle 100km in difficult conditions, thus improving the performance of all runners.
