The concept of Isole & Vulcani bikini takes shape between Rome and Filicudi and develops in the Aeolian archipelago. The intent is to create a beachwear product exclusively for the islands and as much as possible in line with the rhythm and atmosphere that is lived on them. The idea is as simple as it is revolutionary: swimwear in natural fiber without seams.
The comfort and the rigorous essentiality of the shapes, the raw cut, the exclusive use of cotton jersey, a particular attention to the nuance with the choice of colors always combinable from season to season, are the guidelines of the collections. The beach wear line at the base of ISOLE&VULCANI was born as a completely handmade product. It takes shape and develops, since the mid-eighties in a small boutique in contrada Pecorini Mare on the island of Filicudi in the Aeolian archipelago, curated and conceived by the Roman designer Daniela Fadda.
Since 2019, the entire collection is made of GOTS certified organic cotton. All stages of production strictly made in Italy, do not contemplate the use of plastic and have virtually zero environmental impact. The energy, the fiery sunsets, the boundless horizon of the sea, the volcanic rocks, the black sand of the beaches of these timeless places, are the suggestions and inspiration.
