Made in Brazil
Sleeping skin derives from the lower part of the previously brushed cowel skin to make it softer and flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). The skin is tanned in Brazil, in compliance with the Reach regulation. Special attention is reserved for the use of water in the tanning process. The suede is also spread with water -repellent oils without PFC (perfluoring compound) to protect the sneakers from the drizzle.

Brand
Veja
The brand Veja was born in Paris in 2004, from the union of the creative minds of Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion. The two young men had studied banking economics and combined this background with their passion for sneakers and running shoes.
However, aware of the high rate of waste and pollution of materials in the construction industry, the two childhood friends decided to reinvent the sneaker universe by creating their own product that was both beautiful and sustainable, with high quality standards.
As the brand's success grew, new technological patents were added to the production with organic materials, such as the VEJA B-MESH (Bottle Mesh), thanks to which a pair of shoes is produced from three recycled plastic bottles. Added to this is the breathable J-MESH mesh, obtained from a mixture of jute and recycled cotton, with temperature regulating properties.
The attention to the materials used is masterfully represented already by the packaging of the shoes: the box is in fact entirely made of recycled cardboard.
